For me…it’s personal.
I was very fortunate to have had a rewarding 30-year career in sales and marketing communications with a Fortune 500 company. However, during the past decade, there was a shift in the corporate climate — hours increased, more work with less people, heightened levels of stress, etc. I began to feel less satisfied and knew it was time to explore a more fulfilling career endeavor. The only thing I knew for sure was that I wanted my next venture to be people-focused vs. product-focused.
So, I opted to take a ‘time out’ from my career to re-think next steps and focus on family. In 2000, my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. My mother had been a loving caregiver to him for more than 10 years. In 2009, our family mutually decided that it was time to find a solution that would best meet his/our needs. During the arduous process of researching all of the local service options, I had a revelation. This is it! This is the service I was meant to provide. “Lancaster Home Care Solutions LLC” became my new calling. Our company was created to fill a valid and growing service need within our community — but for me….it’s personal!
My father is currently thriving and living a happy, healthy and productive life, thanks to the wonderful nurses and caregivers tending to his needs. The facility we choose for dad was the perfect solution for him and our entire family.
