Q: What kind of services do you provide?

A: Lancaster Home Care Solutions LLC provides assistance to seniors, those requiring post-operative care, new mothers, special needs children, those suffering from dementia, cancers, strokes, people with disabilities and long-term illnesses. We offer a two-tiered service recognizing that each client has individual needs. Check out our Services page to see a detailed listing of services.

Q: Can we interview the Caregiver prior to commitment to service?

A: Absolutely. Our goal is to establish long-term, highly compatible care relationships between clients and Caregivers. A key ingredient to developing a successful caregiving relationship is consistency and chemistry. We go to great measures to ensure the perfect match!

Q: Who can obtain our services?

A: People who are frail, elderly, housebound, physically or mentally challenged, recently discharged from hospital, etc.

Q: How does the cost of Lancaster Home Care Solutions LLC compare with assisted living or nursing home care?

A: The average Lancaster Home Care Solutions LLC services runs about one-third the cost of an assisted living facility and less than one-fourth of what a skilled facility would cost.

Q: How quickly can services be provided?

A: Generally services can be provided within a 48-hour period and often the same day.

Q: Can I change the schedule if I have appointments?

A: Yes. Changes are easily accomplished with as little as a week’s notice.

Q: Are your services 24/7?

A: Our services cover morning, evening, weekends and holidays. At this time we do not provide overnight care.

Q: How does the caregiver selection process work?

A: Once we review the tailored Care Plan for the client, we determine who within the Lancaster Home Care Solutions LLC team might be the best fit. The client and their family have the final say in selecting the Caregiver.

Q: Are your employees trained?

A: Yes. In fact, most of our employees have specific training in a health discipline or have been trained internally through the Lancaster Home Care Solutions LLC training program. Our employees are encouraged to continue their education and training throughout their employment with us.

Q: Does insurance cover the cost of non-medical home care?

A: Only certain long-term care insurance policies cover our services. Normally, health insurances do not cover our services.

Q: Do you offer short-term care?

A: Our service is set up and priced to provide long-term care which we define as four weeks or longer. However, we certainly can provide services for shorter assignments and respite care on relatively short notice as well.

Q: What happens when the Caregiver needs time off?

A: In situations where the primary Caregiver is ill or on vacation, we provide a relief Caregiver with similar experience to cover that timeframe. Once a Caregiver is placed, the client is never left without ongoing, constant care.

Q: What if there is a couple living together?

A: Our base rates are for individual care, so there would typically be a 30% surcharge for an extra individual in the home regardless of the level of care, if any, that the second person may require.

Q: Is billing generated on a weekly or monthly basis?

A: Our billing system is geared to biweekly intervals. A billing statement is sent out every other week.
